Low Voltage straight joints with transparent 2-part polyurethane SWISHPAK resin mixing system, ensuring safe handling and minimising wastage.
Representing the largest and most versatile joint shells on the market, these resin filled straight joints are designed to enable core cross-over and can be used with both compression splices or mechanical core connectors,
Supplied with armour wire continuity, suitable for use with the following LV cable types (up to 1000v AC or 1500v DC):
- EPR, XLPE, PVC or LSZH out sheath types
- Lead (Pb) sheathed and PILC cables (Additional earthing required)
- Wire armour, waveform or braided armour cables
Each Birkett resin joint kit comprises of: Two part transparent joint mould, SWISHPAK resin pack, armour continuity braid, under-armour support rings, worm drive clips, mastic tape and full installation instructions.
S95-S300 joints are also able to accept one service cable up to 35mm2 4core, although additional armour bonding will be required. The S400 joint can accept two such cables.
